What is inside
KendalWall combines indoor bouldering and roped climbing close to the Lake District. Experienced adult climbers can use the centre independently after registration, while new climbers can start with an instructed session or a bouldering introduction.
For a wet Lake District day
This is more than a weather fallback: the centre has training space, a larger café and regular setting. It still makes an especially useful base when outdoor plans at Langdale or elsewhere in the Lakes are washed out.
Getting there
KendalWall is at Lake District Business Park on Mint Bridge Road and the operator lists free on-site parking. Pre-register before an independent visit, or book instruction if you are not yet competent to use the facilities on your own. Check the official page for live times and prices.
