Season

Best October–April on dry, cold days. Summer works on a breeze if you start early. Wet grit is not “almost dry.”

Access

A mix of open access, National Trust, and BMC-sensitive sites. Nesting restrictions and erosion close or reroute paths. Check the BMC Regional Access Database before you travel — do not take a forum post as permission.
