Bouldering and roped climbing in Maidstone

Climb Kent is a mixed climbing centre at Lower Grange Farm rather than a bouldering-only gym. The venue currently lists 25 walls, more than 60 roped routes, 14 lead walls, auto-belays and around 50 bouldering routes, making it useful for groups who want more than one type of climbing.

Courses, open sessions and first visits

Experienced climbers can use bookable open sessions, but first-time open-session visitors need an induction. New climbers are directed to the Learn to Climb course, while the wider programme includes Learn to Lead, adult coaching, children’s sessions and NICAS courses. Equipment is available to hire; check the operator’s current timetable and booking requirements before choosing a session.

Access and groups

The centre is just off the M20 near Maidstone and lists more than 80 free parking spaces. It also has step-free access, accessible toilets and a lift to every level. Schools, youth organisations and other groups can arrange private sessions through the venue, while public climbers should use the official booking pages for current availability.
